Link-Belt® · All Terrain Cranes
Three machines.
One do-anything chassis.
The Link-Belt® 175-ton 175|AT, 225-ton 225|AT, and the flagship 300-ton 300|AT all terrain cranes can be driven to the job on public roads, then head off-road on the same chassis. HOLT Crane sells, rents, and services these models across north, northeast, central, and west Texas, and southern New Mexico.
Overview
Highway speed, then straight off-road.
An all terrain crane rides on a multi-axle highway-legal chassis with its own dedicated driving cab up front, plus a separate crane cab and upper structure. That means it also can be driven between job sites on public roads at up to 55 mph, then the same chassis carries it across an unimproved job site, no trailer required for either leg.
Every Link-Belt® AT model in this line runs a Cummins engine rated at 548 hp and the Link-Belt Pulse 2.0 operating system, so the choice between models comes down to capacity, boom length, and reach.

Why All Terrain
Where this class of crane earns its keep.
Drives itself to the job
A highway-legal multi-axle chassis with its own dedicated cab means no trailer, no separate transport truck for the ride over.
Then goes off-road
The same chassis that carried it down the highway also handles unimproved jobsite terrain, a genuine two-in-one machine.
V-CALC outriggers
Selectable full, intermediate, or retracted outrigger positions, with live 360° capacity charts, for quick setup on almost any surface.
Industrial and remote sites
Built for plant turnarounds, wind and energy work, and jobsites where the crane has to cover both the highway and the last rough mile.
One 548 hp Cummins, one operator
Every model in this line shares the same Cummins engine rating and Pulse 2.0 operating system, simplifying maintenance and operator training.

All Terrain Crane FAQ
What is an all terrain crane?
A crane built on a multi-axle highway-legal chassis with a dedicated driving cab, so it can travel between jobsites at highway speed on public roads and then move around an unimproved jobsite off-road on the same chassis. It combines the road speed of a truck crane with the off-road mobility of a rough terrain crane.
What is the difference between all terrain and rough terrain cranes?
An all terrain crane rides on a multi-axle chassis with a separate driving cab and can travel on public roads at highway speed, then also handle off-road jobsite travel. A rough terrain crane has a single cab for both driving and lifting, is built for off-road mobility only, and typically needs a trailer to relocate.
What size all terrain crane do I need?
It depends on your maximum load, radius, and required reach. Link-Belt’s current All Terrain line runs from the 175|AT (175 US tons) up to the 300|AT (300 US tons), all sharing the same 548 hp Cummins engine rating and Pulse 2.0 operating system. HOLT can help match a load chart to the right model.
Does HOLT sell and service the whole Link-Belt All Terrain line?
