Overview

75 tons, one cab, all four wheels working.

The HTT-8675 Series II is Link-Belt’s entry point into the truck terrain line: an all-wheel-drive, all-wheel-steer 8×4 chassis with a single cab for driving and lifting. It drives itself to the jobsite on public roads, then sets up on CALC outriggers to lift at full rated capacity. Its four-section boom telescopes to 127 ft, and with the two-piece bi-fold fly and lattice extensions it reaches a 230 ft tip height.

Every function runs through Link-Belt Pulse, a rated capacity limiter and telematics system built into the dash. A Cummins X12 (450 hp) drives both the road and the crane functions through a ZF AS-Tronic automated manual transmission; a Cummins QSX15 (480 hp) Tier 3/Stage IIIA option is available where accepted.

Why the HTT-8675 Series II

Compact footprint, full-size capability.

Link-Belt Pulse

Integrated RCL, anti-two-block, real-time load and radius readout, and operator-settable alarms.

CALC outriggers

Confined-area lifting with selectable full, intermediate, or retracted outrigger positions on both sides.

Single-cab, all-wheel steer

One cab for driving and lifting on an 8×4 chassis gives it a tighter jobsite turning radius than a telescopic truck crane.

Four-section boom

41 to 127 ft with four extend modes, reaching 230 ft with the bi-fold fly and both lattice extensions.

Telematics standard

Cellular location, usage, maintenance, and fault-code monitoring, so your fleet team sees the machine before it calls in.

Cummins X12

450 hp and 1,550 ft·lb of torque, run through a ZF AS-Tronic 12-speed automated manual.

Questions, answered

Link-Belt HTT-8675 Series II FAQ

How much can the Link-Belt HTT-8675 Series II lift?

The Link-Belt HTT-8675 Series II has a maximum rated capacity of 75 US tons (68 metric tons) at a 9-foot radius.

What is the maximum tip height of the HTT-8675 Series II?

Maximum tip height is 136 ft on the main boom alone, 199 ft with the two-piece bi-fold fly, and up to 230 ft with the fly plus two 16 ft lattice extensions.

What engine powers the Link-Belt HTT-8675 Series II?

A Cummins X12 six-cylinder diesel producing 450 hp (336 kW) at 1,800 rpm in EPA 2021 trim, paired with a ZF AS-Tronic automated manual transmission. A Cummins QSX15 (480 hp, Tier 3/Stage IIIA) is available where accepted.

How fast can the HTT-8675 Series II travel on the highway?

The HTT-8675 Series II is governed to approximately 53.2 mph in 12th gear on the EPA 2021 engine, allowing it to drive itself between jobsites at highway speed.

How long is the main boom on the HTT-8675 Series II?

The HTT-8675 Series II uses a four-section pin-and-latch boom that extends from 41 ft to 127 ft, with four operator-selectable extend modes.

What is a truck terrain crane, and how is the HTT-8675 different from a telescopic truck crane?

A truck terrain crane like the HTT-8675 uses one cab for both driving and lifting on an all-wheel-drive, all-wheel-steer chassis, giving it a tighter jobsite turning radius than a telescopic truck crane’s separate carrier-and-upper-cab layout, while still driving itself between jobs on public roads.

Can I rent or buy a Link-Belt HTT-8675 Series II from HOLT?
