The 40|HT is Link-Belt’s entry point into the telescopic truck line: a highway-legal crane that drives itself to the job rather than riding a trailer. Its four-section boom telescopes to 115 ft, five feet longer than the model it replaced, and reaches a 171 ft tip height with the optional bi-fold fly.
Power comes from an EPA 2022 compliant, on-highway Cummins L9 producing 370 hp, run through a ZF AS-Tronic automated manual transmission with no clutch pedal. Link-Belt’s Pulse operating system handles the rated capacity limiter and monitoring on the crane side.
