Overview

150 tons, the mid-size step in the HSL line.

The 238 HSL sits between the 228 HSL and 248 HSL in Link-Belt’s current lineup, built around a 50 to 260 ft tube boom that reaches a 314.2 ft tip height with the 30 to 80 ft fixed jib. It rides on a crawler lower with 44-inch track shoes for an average ground bearing pressure of 10.51 psi in full lifting configuration.

A Cummins QSB6.7 (270 hp, Tier 4 Final) powers independent hydraulic drums, boom hoist, swing, and travel. The HSL rated capacity limiter is a boom hoist load cell system that reads out boom and jib geometry, load radius, and tip height for the operator in real time.
