Overview

The newest 200-ton crane in Link-Belt’s line.

The 248|V brings a 55 to 275 ft conventional boom and, new to this weight class, an 85 to 185 ft luffing jib for a maximum combination of 155 ft boom plus 185 ft jib. It runs alongside the established 248 HSL rather than replacing it: both are current 200-ton products, and the 248|V is the one built around Link-Belt’s newest control technology.

A new 12-inch HSL-2 touchscreen load moment limiter reads out live ground bearing pressure alongside wind speed and boom geometry, backed by iCraneTrax telematics. A Cummins QSB6.7 (282 hp, Stage V/Tier 4 Final) is HVO fuel compatible, and the luffing boom works from 30° up to 88°.
